In this episode of Adventures in Angular, the panelists talk with Kevin Kreuzer on source maps. Kevin is a freelance Software Engineer from Switzerland and currently is a part of the frontend architectural team for a company called Schaltstelle. He also regularly writes blog posts on Angular topics, contributes to opensource projects and is the co-founder of a startup – Trasier.

Kevin talks about what led to the development of source maps, how they are generated and explains their working in detail. He elaborates on various approaches of deploying source maps to production without revealing the source code and gives tips on solving issues that come up. The panelists discuss about using these maps for templates (CSS, HTML, etc.) and briefly touch on NestJS.
