If you live in Conejo Valley, California, you will likely know Cristy Warner. She was adamant on finding a clear COVID mask so her students ranging from kindergarten to high school could see her smile. As a K/1 teacher for the Boys & Girls Club, an academic specialist for Weathersfield Elementary School, the Kiwanis advisor for Westlake High School's Key Club, and Weathersfield K-Kids Service Leadership Program, it's no wonder that she was the recipient of the 2019-2020 Kiwanis Cal-Nev-Ha Distinguished Service Award! Cristy is married to her high school sweetheart, Doug, celebrating 32 years of marriage, mom to two sons, and raising her puppy, Teddy. She's an avid water skier too.
