Vanessa Henderson| D1 Experience| Leaving What No Longer Serves You

Welcome Back for another "Dear Universe Episode" friends! In this episode, I interview Vanessa Henderson, one of my best friends I grew up with and played soccer with since we were ten! She tell's her experience as a Division One Athlete at a Pac 12 University and the mental/physical expectations of playing at that level. We discuss the tough world of college athletics, her first season and what ultimately led her to the decision to walk away from her sport and how she found a new identity.
