Jonah Mitchell is a Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition coach in Denver, Colorado whose goal is to help individuals use health and fitness to not only get in the best shape of their life but also amplify their experiences in life. He is a former College Football player and graduate of Western Colorado University. He is the creator of the Athlete For Life Challenge in which purpose is to help current and former athletes get in the best shape of their life without doing endless cardio or starving themselves.


If you are a former athlete, you know the sting of strapping up the pads, lacing up the cleats, or putting on the uniform for the last time. You feel like you have lost a piece of yourself. That has been your identity for as long as you can remember. Jonah and I talk about his journey post-football and his failed attempt at trying to continue playing. However, he also shares how he found himself during the darkest time in his life and his lifelong struggle with mental health. Additionally, we discuss how to break the barriers of self-doubt and limitation we put on ourselves, how the fear of failure is crippling to our self-growth, how diet and physical health affect all areas of our lives, finding a new identity once you voluntarily, or involuntarily move on from something, controlling the controllable, and more!
