Episode 3 Featuring Lisa McDonald

Born and raised in Edmonton, now living in Casper, Wyoming with a Ukrainian heart! Lisa has been involved in all things Ukrainian since birth. She took Ukrainian language Saturday school, Ukrainian dance, was involved with a Ukrainian Youth group, Ukrainian church and even owned a Ukrainian bar for 3 years in Edmonton. She has a Bachelor of Education degree from the U of A with a minor in Ukrainian language and then was working on her Masters in Ukrainian Folklore when she met a nice Montana boy and moved to the states. Even though the population of Ukrainians is virtually nonexistent where she lives she manages to run two Ukrainian related businesses while substitute teaching and acting as a consultant for a British Health and Beauty company called Neal’s Yard Remedies. Each spring she runs Pysanka (piss-in-ka) - Ukrainian Easter Egg decorating classes and has a thriving online business baking Korovai (cor-o-vie) -Ukrainian Wedding Bread and shipping them all over the US.
