009: The Single Most Important Page On Your Website

If I asked you what you thought the most important page on any website what would you say?

If you said your “About Me” Page you’d be a grand prize winner.

Here’s why

Your “About me” page is your opportunity to introduce yourself to the world online. Use it to share your accomplishments, your passions, your interests, your work history, special certifications and how you serve your ideal audience.

It’s important that your “about me” is more than just a resume of professional qualifications do that and you’re missing a golden opportunity to let people know about you and what makes you tick

In my experience, the biggest mistake we all make is using this vital piece of real estate solely as a resume

Of course, you want to shout out your credentials but just listing your professional accomplishments is boring, it doesn’t set you apart from everybody else that offers the same thing as you.

But when you share the things about you that bring you joy, the things you’re good at, your hobbies, interests, and talents humanizes you and makes you relatable. That’s what a good “about me” page does!
