Dr. Rachel Cramton is a pediatric hospitalist, palliative care provider and  Director of the Pediatric Palliative Care Program at Banner University Medical Center. She focuses on resident education and wellness, and integrative medicine in pediatrics. She specializes in end-of-life care and serves as an advocate for her patients and their families. 

In today’s episode, host Shay Beider welcomes Dr. Cramton to talk about her experience working in a hospital setting during COVID-19, and the impact the virus has had on hospitals and front line workers. They discuss the power of active listening and the gift of time when it comes to palliative and end of life care. Dr. Cramton shares her personal motivation that led her to the field of palliative care, and how this specialty has molded her views of healing.
