Simone Figueroa is the co-founder of U-Thrive Educational Services. She focuses on the inherent need to equip college students with tools to manage stress, improve resilience, and help them thrive throughout their undergraduate experiences and beyond. Simone believes that we can shift the mental health landscape with programs rooted in positive psychology, mindfulness, and self-compassion.

In today’s episode, Shay Beider chats with Simone about the importance of mental health and the power of mindfulness. Simone shares her experience at Canyon Ranch Wellness Resort, and her desire to combine her entrepreneurial ways with a love for spirituality. As she found a passion in supporting individuals in their transformation, Simone ventured into her own lifestyle coaching business. She discusses the importance of U-Thrive, as it explores the mind, body, and soul to help individuals overcome the places where they feel stuck.

As always, this podcast was created by Integrative Touch for Kids (ITK). ITK is working to change the way people experience healthcare. ITK supports families whose children have any type of special health or medical need. This includes kids with cancers, genetic conditions, autism, cerebral palsy, traumatic stress, and other serious health issues. We have pioneered a new therapy called Integrative Touch™ and reach 3500 people each year in both the hospital and community settings. We engage communities in support of families struggling with special medical needs and offer unique Telehealth programs during this challenging time. Thanks to the incredible support of our volunteers and contributors, families are able to receive our healing services free of charge.
