I believed that my low self confidence was normal since I just had a baby.

While the deflated belly, sleepy eyes, and hormones surely played a role, the truth is that my self confidence was probably an issue WAY before my babies came into the world. 

I remember talking to a therapist about it and he mentioned something to me that changed my life. 

"Having a growth mindset increases confidence."

I've been doing personal development for 8 years now, but there is a difference in reading a book every single day and then actually LIVING the principles that you're reading about. 

So instead of checking off the box that I read today, I started changing my focus entirely toward my mindset and my struggles so that I could identify the type of growth I ACTUALLY needed. 

Here is the reality: when we stop improving ourselves, we are in danger of falling into a rut and becoming unhappy with life.
