Spit-up, dirty diapers and colic are the exact opposite of romantic. A screaming baby at a restaurant makes your night out less than appealing. I get it. You don't THINK you have the time for date nights. You think you can't get a sitter. 

Zach and I had Sutton in a pandemic. Date nights were extinct. But now that the world is picking up again, date nights are a non-negotiable. And for us, they rarely involve leaving the house. 

By dating your spouse, you're telling him or her that he or she is a priority in your life. Obviously there are things that take up our time – good things. ... By dating each other on a regular basis, your marriage will be strengthened. You'll feel loved. 

Your spouse isn't just there for you for the tough times, but for enjoyable times too. Relax together. Enjoy each other. Make memories together.
