In life we sometimes hold very tightly and attach ourselves to relationships, ideas, outcomes.  We might think we hold on tightest to the things in our lives that we love and make us feel good.  However, there are many things that do not serve us well in our lives that we get stuck being attached to and holding on strongly.  There's a concept called nonattachment which can assist us in living more peacefully to accept and evolve through the impermanence of life.
