In this series, we take a look at Redding's Sewer System and talk with a few of the people who help make sure that the things you flush, don't come back up to the surface.  In fact, the City of Redding's Wastewater Department is making sure that the wastewater that leaves our homes eventually goes back into the Sacramento River as clean, if not cleaner, than when it came out.  This is no small operation!

In part two of this three-part series, we talk with Tracy Wyhlidko, Industrial Waste Supervisor with the City of Redding.  She makes sure that harmful substances from our commercial businesses are not making it into our waterways. She talks to us about so-called "flushable wipes" and why it is so important to throw these away instead of flushing them.
