We look at a story in the Bible found in John Chapter 1 Verses 35-51

You ever think to yourself why isn’t anyone loving on that person? Why isn’t anyone doing anything about that situation or this situation? Why isn’t anyone telling my co-workers about Jesus? Or forgiving the people who have done wrong? Why isn’t anyone showing up when people are confused and hurt and lost?
BECAUSE WE ARE THE ONES.
We are in a unique and difficult time in the world right now. Humanity is filled with so much confusion, malice and anger towards one another. It seems hatred in the streets speak louder than the love in our churches. Malice in our own hearts, out weigh the compassion of the Cross. It seems we are in a place in society where we have forgotten that we are all people. Do me a favor, look to the left and to the right of you, right now. Regardless of how we look, or speak we are all people. And I’d like to add that we are all people made in the image of God. We were never called to all be the same. But we were called to unified under the name Jesus Christ.

And we are the ones who speak that unity into motion. Our lives should be open and available to be used by God to create more and more unity in the places, communities and spaces that we occupy.
