Lauren Contreras identifies as a Queer Latina living in Denver, CO. Lauren is a Ph.D. candidate in Higher Education at the University of Denver. Lauren also works at the University of Denver as a Program Coordinator for the CWC Leadership Scholars Program and Equity Labs. Lauren has over 10 years of experience in higher education as a practitioner and researcher. Lauren strives to promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice in all the work she does. Lauran opens up herself to the show and talks about her experiences being a queer and married lesbian. We also cover a bit about her faith journey.
