BILL SCHIFFMILLER: CEO of Akoio and visionary behind the brand. Prior to founding Akoio, Bill was the Accessibility Advocate for Apple, Inc. where he was the thought leader on the establishment of Accessibility for its global retail operations. His diverse background contains a continuing thread of creativity, innovation, and education. In addition to his time at Apple, his experience includes positions as the Director of Design and Production of CSP, a media trade company focused on the Convenience Store industry; teaching Design Management at the Pratt Institute; and consulting in the pharmaceuticals industry. At Akoio, he builds and manages relationships with its stakeholders, observes industry and consumer trends and ideates disruptive opportunities.
