Nirosha Ruwan is a lawyer, entrepreneur and mindfulness teacher.   She is the founder of Coding for Treasure, a coding school for kids, and the Mindful Bug (@Mindfullbug ), a company that provides mindfulness instruction for students of all ages. She practices law at Lumos Law in Los Angeles. She is also a wife, mom of two daughters in elementary school, and a Girl Scout troop leader.  

Mindfulness has been so helpful in her life, and she is passionate about sharing the practice with others.  She has been practicing meditation for over 20 years, and she is trained as a mindfulness facilitator by the UCLA Mindfulness Awareness Research Center at the Semel Institute on Neuroscience and Human Behavior at UCLA. She has a BA from Harvard College and a JD from Harvard Law School.

Nirosha is the author of the forthcoming book, "Mind Over Scatter: How to Conquer Any Test with Sharper Focus and Less Stress."
