Next Episode: Burnout Is Real

The idea of being a role model feeds into the narrative that it’s better to inspire, than to be authentic and if I’m being honest, that narrative is so toxic. People desire perfection in a world where no one is perfect.

I am an advocate for progression over perfection

I would rather be authentic and integral than to be inspirational. May I inspire others by who I am, not by who I pretend to be.
Social media has distorted reality.
It’s shown the highlights, but it’s never shown the real and because of that - people now live  for the brand online, and forget the importance of living authentically offline
