We love Heathers, we love Heathers THE MUSICAL, we love Bughead, we love Riverdale musical episodes!!! We talk about our personal history with Heathers and Heathers the Musical before delving into what has quickly become one of Maria’s favorite ever episodes of Riverdale. In a podcast we recorded live, we point out parallels to the Heathers movie, screech and squeal through all the Bughead scenes/kisses/singing/dancing/casual arson, sing along to our favorite songs, gush about all the amazing performances and costumes (we are super grateful they let Casey Cott sing this year!!!), and, finally, we have heart palpitations during the “Seventeen” Bughead/Choni double duet, AS ONE DOES. Oh, and it wouldn’t be a Riverdale musical episode without a killer ending...you better believe we have thoughts about the introduction of Edgar Evernever aka when they dropped a wild Chad Michael Murray and ran!
