It’s Riverdale’s 50th episode!!! And FP’s 50th??? birthday! (We’re skeptical about the math here, but HOKAY, Riverdale, we’ll buy it.) In this wild ride of an ep, we talk the Falice/Fladys love triangle, critique these terrible parents for being terrible parents, lament/try to make sense of the Choni and Veggie break-ups, and are incredibly weirded out by Gladys Jones buying the Cooper house. Jeff narrates/breaks down Archie’s entire Red Paladin Quest Battle in the boxing gym through the tropes of anime tournament sequences. Oh, and y’all: the Bughead-sharing-a-plotline-drought is OVER, and this episode left Maria feeling FED. She squeals about all the Bughead moments, while Jeff makes fun of us Bughead shippers a lil and Maria defends passionately!
