This episode with founder of swim adventure company Swim Wild, Alice Goodridge, is the fourth in our series on how to thrive this coming Covid winter. We know winter can be tough at the best of times let alone during a global pandemic, but mindset is everything.

Suzy has rounded up a gaggle of inspirational winter-lovers to help us through. Alice is a formidable force in the wild swimming world; she's completed solo channel swims, set up international winter swimming competitions and other events and regularly appears on TV talking about her passion.

One of the main things Alice loves about wild swimming is how it resets her mindset and shows her she can do hard things - which sets her up for any challenges coming in her day or life ahead. So, a very good sport to take up this tricky winter - not to mention all the other associated health benefits to do with relieving aches and pains and burning calories!
