“Embrace the Suck” is a military slang that means “To consciously accept or appreciate something that is extremely unpleasant but unavoidable for forward progression.” This term basically applies to those who serve in the military. “Face it, soldier. I’ve been there..this aint easy. Now let’s deal with it.”

On this episode of Benevolence, Valeria Albarran-Rivera joins me at the table to discuss her perspective and experiences as a military wife. We dive into the adjustments, the challenges, and the greatest parts about being in a military marriage. In addition to that, we also debunk some military misconceptions.
