Come From Away, Donkey Konga Line for CHOP, Share Your Heart Concert, and 18th Annual First Person Arts Festival

Kristen speaks with James Earl Jones II (the very talented cousin of the guy you’re thinking) who stars in the Tony Award Winning Musical ‘Come From Away’, which is here in Philly at the Academy of Music through Sunday, November 3rd. The show tells the incredible story of 38 planes with 7,000 passengers that were grounded in the small town of Gander, Newfoundland, in Canada following the 9/11 terrorist attacks. The First Person Arts StorySlams are fun and entertaining, and open to anyone to participate. The festival features celebrities, authors, poets, workshops, and concludes on November 16th at World Cafe Live with the organization’s GrandSlam, with StorySlam winners competing for the title of “Best Storyteller in Philadelphia”.
