Then, Kristen Herrmann speaks with Ed Harris, the Chief Marketing Officer at the Valley Forge Tourism Board about Montgomery County hosting the National Dog Show each year, plus all of the many dog friendly businesses and activities in the area, hotel packages, and more. Find more information at www.valleyforge.org and a list of dog friendly resources at embarkmontco.com.

The National Dog Show is happening November 16th and 17th at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center at Oaks with over 2,000 dogs from 190 different breeds. Saturday is the day of the Thanksgiving Day TV taping, and both days will feature a number of great activities and entertainment options for the entire family. As one of the few remaining, and oldest benched dog shows in the country, this basically means that at the National Dog Show -  the public gets to meet all the dogs!!! It’s such a fun event, and we’re so lucky to have it here in our area! www.NationalDogShow.com for tickets and information.
