In this episode I get to speak with Rasheda Kamaria Williams, an award-winning mentor/mentoring consultant, speaker, author of Be EmPOWERed: How to Live Above & Beyond Life's Drama and the founder and Chief Empowering Officer of Empowered Flower Girl.

In this episode, I am reminded of how tough it can be growing up. So much of the work I'm doing now on confidence, vulnerability an authenticity stemmed from my struggles in middle school. It is so important to help young girls to grow up feeling empowered.

I am so thankful for the work that Rasheda is doing. In this episode we discuss her story growing up and how having a support system and mentorship was so crucial. I love that she has turned her own experience into a global movement that will have such an impact in the way girls see themselves and their peers.

If you have ever thought of becoming a mentor or getting more involved, this is definitely your sign to do so. This episode will also encourage you to use your gifts. You will see how much your gifts are needed and how by starting small it can make a huge difference. I can't wait to see what your takeaways are and learn what step you will take next to leave an impact on this world.
