Trust is fostered when we say what we mean and mean what we say, both in our personal lives and professional environments.

Wherever we hold back and cover up what is really going on underneath the surface a gap is created.  We separate from our own integrity and what we find unsayable and leave unspoken becomes suspended in the shared space between us and others.

Tensions and anxieties arise because others sense the secrets that we keep from them.  Shared secrets become embodied in families and organisations.  This leads to inertia, challenging dynamics, resistance to change and divergence from purpose.

Being honest isn't always easy, but through open conversations we can restore trust and disentangle complex situations.

In this podcast author of Burnout to Brilliance, Jayne Morris and wellbeing coach / co-host, Dylan Cox discuss how to find a step towards better as individuals and teams through embracing more honesty in our relationships.
