If you’re familiar with our little show, you may recall that one time we interviewed Shawn Mills for a special episode about the impending demise of his company Infamous Quests. Even by our standards, it was a particularly salty, expletive-laden romp, containing everything from jabs aimed at overly nostalgic gamers and thieving cunts (the soundboard is eternally thankful for that one, Shawn) to child euthanization.

Given that IQ are still working on their final few projects before they (presumably) close their doors and ride off into the sunset, we thought it was about time we interviewed the Statler to Shawn’s Waldorf, namely Steven “Blackthorne” Alexander, the other CEO of Infamous Quests. Fortunately, Steven was more than willing to elaborate on his perspective on the State of the Industry, and his daughter Josephine (Jo for short) was even more willing to loudly and salivatingly proclaim her love for her toy collection into daddy’s microphone.

Presented without comment.

While Steven has a slightly more positive outlook than an Australian gentleman who has had to set his alarm for 4 AM to accommodate us basket cases, he was still eager to weigh in on some fairly polarizing subjects, making this episode quite meaty and interesting for any hopeful indies out there. Plus, Jo plays a mean xylophone.

You can listen to that rocking combo either on YouTube or below this very post.

And should that not satisfy your urges, we would be grateful if you would consider chiming in to our Patreon, where you can also find exclusive content that’s even more half-assed than the show itself!
