Fresh off the mass murder of the BSD hosts at the end of Season 4, we welcome back Francisco Gonzalez (a.k.a. Grundislav Games) to talk about streaming, adventure games and Virginia Capers.

Doing shows with people we have met “eye arr ell” is always a treat. We managed to spend some quality time with “San” Francisco at AdventureX last autumn and even got to take a sneaky look at his upcoming adventure Lamplight City. The downside is that 80% of this episode recording was us giggling at our own jokes.

Thankfully, though, judicious editing and a rigorous application of professional standards means that we have an hour of prime cuts for you to sample. We ask Francisco how the development on Lamplight City is going before delving into the big wide world of streaming.

As Annie Lennox once sang, “sweet streams are made of this”. And who are we to disagree? Because one of our esteemed co-hosts is, in fact, a streamer.

Copyright theft will begin shortly! Stay tuned!

So. Is he breaking copyright law and exploiting other people’s talents in game-making to push his own brand and sell mouse mats with his face on them? Or is he providing free advertising for small-to-medium-sized companies by exposing their products to a wider audience? Is he neither of these things? Or both? What even are words?

I mentioned some “unprofessional behaviour” earlier. Well, the off-cuts of the gristle and cartilage that is us corpsing to our own jokes are available to our Patreon subscribers. If you’re not already signed up there, you’re missing out on an advertisement for Order of the Thorne and Dave Gilbert rapping. I know, right?

In any case, do check out Grundislav Games’ website and Twitter account. Francisco is very active and accessible there. Also, if you want a perspective on being a game dev by people who actually make games for a living, Francisco hosts a brilliant podcast called Blue Cup Tools with Ben Chandler. Anyone who’s ever been involved with a creative project – writing a book, painting a painting, cooking a cooking or dancing a dancing will find so many helpful tips for staying sane. And, if nothing else, get a wry smile from the gentle wit of the two hosts.

Unlike this shower of shite.
