When we think of Easter, we immediately consider Christ’s death and resurrection. But, we should actually think of creation as well!

When we think of Easter, we immediately consider Christ’s death and resurrection. After all, that’s what we’re remembering! But, we should actually think of creation as well! Okay, what do I mean?


Well, the history in Genesis gives us the foundation for the gospel! You see, God created a perfect world and he had a perfect relationship with the first two people he created. But then Adam and Eve sinned against God. That sin brought death into creation and it broke our relationship with God.


That’s why Jesus came! He lived the perfect life—that we can’t live—and died in our place. He took our penalty of death for us, then rose from the dead.
