Absolutely!
We know it occurred because we can trust the Word of God, which tells us that Jesus really did bodily rise from the dead on the third day. And there’s even evidence to support it.
In the early days of Christianity, people tried to silence the disciples’ testimony of the risen Lord. The best way to do that would’ve been to produce the body, but there’s absolutely no record anyone even tried. Why? Because the tomb really was empty!
It was just as the angel said—“Christ is not here. He has risen!”
