In the black community, it is often seen as tabu to openly discuss the circumstances and emotions surrounding miscarrying a child, infant loss, and infertility. It is often presumed that as a black woman you won't have any challenges bringing a child into the world. However, based on the science and social data this couldn't be further from the truth. Hopefully, this conversation will shed light on a common challenge within the black community in an effort to let others know they are not alone.
