Have you ever wondered what the most common symptoms of an STI are? Or what the difference between an STI or an STD is? Or where to get properly tested for an STI? In this episode we’re speaking with Jenelle Pierce of the STI Project, a non-profit organisation that seeks to prevent modern-day STIs and to break down STI stigma.
Jenelle contracted herpes when she was 16-years-old, and in 2012, quit her job as an accountant to fulfil her purpose full-time.

Jenelle Marie Pierce (she/her) is the Executive Director of The STI Project: Breaking the Stigma® and its child sites; the Founder of the herpes activists network, HANDS; the Spokesperson for Positive Singles; and a Tri-Chair of the Communications Action Group at the National Coalition for Sexual Health (NCSH). As an STI+ Sexual Health Educator and content creator, Jenelle has been dismantling stigma by reclaiming STI narratives® through awareness, education, and acceptance since 2012.
