The Alabama Freshwater Fishing report is your best resource for the Lake Guntersville Fishing Report, Weiss Lake Fishing Report, Lake Eufaula Fishing Report, and all the creeks, rivers, and reservoirs in between.

Deer season is in and the fall bite is in full swing on Alabama’s lakes and rivers. This week’s episode gives you the skinny on how to capitalize on cooling temps and to catch fat bass.

First up we have Steve Graziano with Graz’s Guide Service reporting from Lake Eufala. Graz has been catching largemouth and spotted bass on dropshot rigs on the lower end of the lake, and has the information you need to put bass in the boat.

Next up we talk to Stephen Rockarts with Fly Fishing Alabama on the Cahaba RIver. Stephen has been following the bass to the creek mouths, and this week gives us tips on targeting fish in these areas with streamer flies. Stephen has the info you need to target largemouth, spotted, smallmouth, and redeye bass this fall.

Finally, we wrap up with Bob Mallard, Executive Director of the Native Fish Coalition. For this segment, we discuss how a conservation group dedicated to the preservation of brook trout came to have a presence in Alabama, and the importance of native species and the movement to protect them.
