The weather is cooling down, but the bite is heating up throughout Alabama. This week we’re joined by David Graham of the Boundless Pursuit to talk about his love for a much-maligned “trash fish:” the mighty bowfin. David has chased bowfin across 7 states, and is perhaps the world’s leading expert on fishing for this fascinating, “living fossil” of a species. In keeping with this week’s focus on the backwaters, we also catch up with Justin Dunnam down on the Mobile Tensaw Delta. Additionally, he produces the Youtube Channel “Eightmile Drifter” where he journals his fishing trips in the backwaters and tributaries on Alabama’s coast.
