Doug Anderson and Stephanie Constable work for Earnscliffe, a government relations and public policy company. Their services include opinion and market research that are shared with policy makers and leaders, and recently they conducted a study that provides insight into changing attitudes post-COVID. Their study contributes to understanding what Canadians expect of policy-makers and corporate leaders in addressing the needs for a changing society.
We discuss changing spending habits, time we now spend at home, changing work situations and slowing down our lifestyle.
Though the study did not break down each industry, it is clear that we are looking for life to change from what we knew it. We are looking for safe ways to re-open the economy and image a future of stability - what will that look like and what needs to happen to ensure that?

Questions we address:
Has the pandemic changed what Canadians want from governments over the long-term?
What is the support like of Ontarians for Doug Ford? Has that changed?
Has the pandemic changed how Canadians feel about industries or companies?
Can we count on these attitudinal changes to last?
Will there be a follow up study?
