Today, I'll be sharing my experience of how I leveraged my resources to hire a Social Media Manager on Upwork. This is a video of my journey to finding the right candidate for the job.
I was specifically looking for someone who could take over my social media accounts, post on all platforms up to three times a day, network, help create new content, and continue to learn and be creative. I offered a partnership, and I asked potential candidates to check out my pages to ensure they were passionate about them.
I shared the importance of being detailed in your search for new team members and filtering out those who aren't willing to put in the effort. I also emphasized the need to live in the present moment and focus on what candidates can show you right now, rather than their past experience.
