Some episodes are special and make you do something you've never done before. We found it extremely difficult to edit portions of this raw and vulnerable and courageous conversation with poet & author, Megha Rao. This unedited 90minute conversation is divided into 2 parts and will be released over 2 different episodes.

Our guest this week on the Absolutely write podcast is Megha Rao, a confessional performance poet and a surrealist artist. Her work has been featured on platforms such as Penguin Random House India, Firstpost, The Open Road Review, New Asian Writing, The Alipore Post, Spoken Fest, Why Indian Men Rape and Thought Catalog. Megha is a postgraduate in English Literature from the University of Nottingham, UK.

Megha started writing when she was six, beginning with comic books. What started as speech bubbles soon turned into short stories, and then novels. She is a podcaster and the author of multiple books, teething being her latest.

Aditi analyses Megha's handwriting and decodes her multilingual signature and talks about the parallel of the two dots in her signature and her life. She also talks about the strokes that depict Megha's fierce honesty.
Megha narrates a poem from her latest book - 'Teething' and shares some amazing tips for budding writers and creators.
