This podcast will help you learn to up-level your time management strategies so you can get back in control of your day – and make an extra hour, your 25th hour, a reality - every day.

Today’s guest is Paul Benson. Paul has been helping people achieve their financial goals for over 20 years. In 2017 he created the Financial Autonomy podcast centered on an observation that what we all really want is choice in life. That might be choice as to when we retire, choice as to where we live. Choice on how many hours we put into income-producing activity. Or choice in what we do to generate income. The podcast lead to a book deal, which is helping Paul reach even more people achieve their version of Financial Autonomy.

In this episode, we discuss the importance of time blocking and how doing it effectively can maximize your daily and long-term efforts. Tune in to learn Paul’s top time blocking tips and how to transform your calendar into your to-do list.

Time Management Strategies for Success:

Time Blocking - “Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays are client days. Wednesday is my creative day, which is a podcast, and we do some other bits and pieces around that, marketing activities, then Friday is for existing client work.”Boundaries - “My line is that I don’t see clients during non-traditional business hours.” Prep Process - “When an appointment gets booked, my office manager books in an hour, a day or two prior, so that I've got an opportunity to read the file, remember where we're up to, and refresh myself on what's going on.” Calendar / To-Do List - “My calendar really is my to-do list - I don't actually have a separate to-do list.”

Here’s how Paul likes to spend his 25th Hour:

Writing - “ I'm actually spending it doing extra writing on writing a fiction book at the moment.”
