Beelzebub confronts their conflicting stances on gun control and ownership, with Elsa and Heather finding themselves on different sides. These matters are never just as simple as "banning all guns" or "upholding the Second Amendment," of course. And matters of safety and security are only complicated further when considered through the rubric of race, class, gender and sexual identity.


Please note that this episode was recorded earlier this month, before the tragic shooting in Parkland, Florida. These acts of violence are heartbreaking, but we hope they can at least stir more citizens to become active in creating systems to support their community during crisis, and demanding reform and accountability from political leaders at every level.
