If a habit isn't satisfying, then ditch it or figure out how to make it satisfying.  One way to make habits satisfying is to align your habits with your personality.  If you like fun, start a habit of trying something new like Sandy.  Another way is to give yourself small rewards as you work towards a bigger goal like Amy.


Good habits are hard in the present but have future payoffs, bad habits are more rewarding in the present and have future consequences.
