The easy route when dealt with conflict is to play victim. Women are especially good at this. It feels good and most people sympathize with the victim. Win-win. But there are no victims without villains. All drama is constructed of the villain and victim mentality. Are real life stories really those of villains and victims or is the truth somewhere in the middle? Is a true friend one who doesn’t automatically sympathize and help build the villain, but one who shows compassion and helps learn from the journey? You can lift someone up without tearing someone else down.
