Ah. The settling down after Eclipse Season. It’s always a liminal space, a time between times. A moment for the dust to settle. The energy is dissipating, and over the next several months, we’re being given a cosmic break, at least when it comes to these supercharged lunations. This week, excitement and unexpected change, liberation, and freedom are on the cards. This rings particularly true for our material world, where our money, home, and work lives are being shaken up in order to give us a bit of breathing room. Although we may initially feel disgruntled at having to adjust – again – ultimately, it’s for our own good. Picture the universe wagging her motherly finger at us telling us to eat our vegetables. It's the same sort of thing. Except far more thrilling. And definitely much more interesting. The Sun-Uranus conjunction in Taurus on Tuesday reflects where we need to express ourselves more authentically. Where we need to become a little more shocking.
Mercury, our archetypal Messenger of the Gods, is finally going direct on Sunday. Time to apologize for all those misunderstandings. Or to accept apologies. Yet, there is a post-retrograde shadow period to take into account. It’ll take a week or two for things to go back to normal, so harness that Taurean patience for just a little longer. On Friday, use the sextile to Saturn from Mercury to get focused, to have those serious conversations, and to take responsibility.
Speaking of Saturn, Venus, planet of love and harmony, links to this stern teacher in a sweet trine aspect on Saturday. She softens his harsh energy, and canoodles him into a more receptive space. Anything love-related takes on a sheen of commitment. A gentle sense of duty. A firm promise to have and to hold.
