Every band in the world has to go through this right of passage: being an opening band - often for years and years while they build up their own audience.
If you score an opening spot for a big band you might think you've just gotten your big opportunity to hit the big leagues - but what you may not know is that it is just as easy to damage your career in the opening spot as it is to elevate it.
There are unspoken (and sometimes unknown) rules that are important for you to know. Knowing them may be what decides if you get called back for another gig!
This was a funny episode as we've been on both sides of a lot of these situations (specifically drinking all the headliners beer) so I'm sure you'll enjoy the stories!
