Brittney Slayes of Unleash The Archers | Winning A Juno

Brittney Slayes is the lead vocalist for Canadian heavy metal band, Unleash The Archers.

Unleash The Archers has had a long and successful career in the global metal scene, but they seem to only be getting started with (at the time of our recording) a Juno nomination for best metal album of the year!

Brittney and the band are originally local to the area that Marcus and I are from so when we heard they were up for a Juno we just had to ask Brittney onto the show - and we are so glad we did!

Brittney was incredibly giving with her time, knowledge, and experience and was able to shed light on what it's like coming up as an indie band, all the way to a major label signing.

We also chatted about what their relationship looks like with their label in the day to day of being UTA - and it was fascinating!
