When we spoke to Jordyn Curet about “Home Economics” this is what she said about working with adults | Young Entertainment Mag

Young Entertainment Magazine returns with an exclusive interview with Jordyn Curet, who stars as Shamiah in the ABC series, Home Economics. For those who need a refresher, the series follows the lives of three siblings: Tom (the oldest sibling), Sarah (the middle sibling), and Connor (the youngest sibling). The three siblings' incomes vary as Tom, his wife Marina, and their three children are a middle-class family, while Sarah, her wife Denise, and their two adopted children are living paycheck to paycheck, and Connor is well-off financially, but in the process of finalizing a divorce from his soon-to-be ex-spouse.

We briefly asked what her life has been like before and after joining the cast of Home Economics. Jordyn said that her nonprofit organization, Jordyn's Joy, holds various book drives and toy drives to give back to local charities in need. She recently gave back to Ronald McDonald's House to help a lot of her friends who were sick and needed help. She added that before Home Economics, she was just auditioning a lot as she was homeschooled and did a few roles, such as Raven's Home, and hangout with her friends a lot, doing the regular stuff the average kid would do.
