Constance Zimmer teaches on set and tries to be mother on set | Young Entertainment Mag

YEM returns with an exclusive interview with Constance Zimmer, who stars as Shira Bolitar in the TV series Harlan Coben's Shelter. For those who need a refresher on the series, the series follows the story of Mickey Bolitar and his new life with a mother in rehab, a deceased father, an annoying aunt, and a new school in New Jersey. The storyline starts after a creepy old woman tells Mickey that his father isn't dead, and as a result, Mickey thinks he's losing his mind.

We briefly asked her what was it about the show that really adds to the thriller feel, like the music or the sets in the background, to get her in the headspace to play a character like that. Constance answered that for her, it's the writing as Harlan Coben is just a genius at writing suspense novels and thrillers and keeping the twists and the turns in ways that you haven't thought you figured out, but you haven't.
