In this episode, I share with you an interview with Britt Snow who, along with her husband Josh, founded and currently run the elopement collective, previously known as the pop-up wedding co. As you will hear in this episode, the elopement collective is a squad of wedding industry leaders and creatives that create epic and intimate elopements for couples in Australia and around the world.

Eloping is something that appears to become more accepted as a potential alternative for the traditional 80 - 100 person wedding or Event as Britt describes it. As we discussed throughout this episode, some of the benefits include not only the potential cost savings, a lot less stress and time involved in having a plan and organise your special day. Most importantly the opportunity for couples to have a day of their choosing, without all of the external pressure and expectations that seems to come with having a wedding.

Throughout this episode, I discussed with Britt

How they were able to take their original goal of booking 12 weddings a year. To now having grown a business with an annual turnover of over $600,000, as well allowing their family to travel the world doing something they love.  How the original idea of the pop-up wedding co which turned into the elopement collective was born  The decision for Britt and Josh to quit their full-time jobs and start their business Some of their biggest failures and lessons they have learnt so far with running their own business What they know now that they wish they had known when first starting the business  The growing trend of eloping  How eloping works and what are the costs involved  The wedding industry as a whole  Some of the amazing travel destinations that they have travelled to including Iceland, New Zealand and New York
