[5:00] Radical Confidence

"Confidence means taking all your fears, all your insecurities, all your inadequacies and doing it anyways."

"You actually have to practice and the practice is what makes you competent. And it's the competent, that gets you confident."

[13:00] Critic To Coach

“What I've done is I've allowed a critic in my head to become my coach. I've literally had her now teach me and tell me what I'm fearful of and then have a plan in order to mitigate that from happening.”

“I actually now very much use that negative voice in my head to help tell me what I'm about to face and then come up with a plan to help coach me into.”

“When we get clear on what we really want, it becomes easy to say no to the things that are going to help us get there.”

[26:00] Relationship With Failure

“Growth mindset is putting yourself in situations that you do find comfortable and putting yourself in situations that you don't have confidence in.

“I actually have the trust in myself that if I mess up, if I fail, I can get back up.”

“Failure. Isn't really an option. It's just about learning and expanding”

[36:00] Having a Why

“I was evolving from my why to be this fear-based thing to then becoming a mission. I realized that the mission was the key piece to pulling the heartstrings.”

“Having a why needs to be the first step”

“When something comes at me that I don’t expect or I feel inadequate, I always can remember my why”

[41:00] Relationship To Quitting

“So many of us want to quit when it's hard, when we don't feel good about ourselves, when we try that new thing. But it's because of the emotion, it's not because of the thing.”

“Identify in those moments, is it the thing or the emotion that you don't feel good enough about?”

“Vowing “I'm not going to quit on a bad day” is a really, really powerful way to make sure that you don't give up too, too soon”
