I welcome you warmly to the month of November and invite you to participate in my gratitude giveaway. Simply email [email protected] and share with me something specific that you are grateful to God for this month. I’ll throw in an extra entry for you if what you're grateful for is unique and or thoughtful. We’ve been through a lot these past few months and I think a dose of gratitude would do the soul good. I personally like to start my gratitude practice with the small and mundane and work my way up to the awesome and spectacular. It’s a lot of fun, so I hope you’ll give it a try.

We have a good God, a phenomenal creator, so it’s easy to find something to thank Him for.

Inside today’s podcast, I have with me, Simcha Melling. She is a wife, full-time working mom of three, writer, and a newly enrolled college student. She was a stay-at-home mom for over a decade and a homeschool teacher for five years.

Living in Queensland, Australia for three years as a newlywed with her native hubby, was quite an experience for her as a Midwest raised girl.

She writes to encourage and inspire others to choose joy and faith through the mundane and heartache in life.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading inspirational fiction and self-improvement books, binge watching Netflix, and consuming way too much social media.

She and her family live on acreage, in a small Missouri town outside Kansas City, with their German Shepherd mix dog, gray tabby cat, and a fluctuating number of chickens.
