Bio:  MaryB. Safrit is a Manhattan-based writer, podcaster, and coach. She has been blogging about singleness and faith since June 2018, and her writing has been featured by Fathom Magazine, The Center for Faith and Work, Now She Rises, and Hope for New York. “Unsuitable with MaryB. Safrit,” her podcast, recently completed its fourth season and has over 5,000 downloads. Listeners have said, “MaryB. and her guests are so good at hitting the nail on the head,” and “MaryB. knows how to unpack so much goodness in a short amount of time!”


She has spoken as part of the Redeemer Presbyterian Church “Relationship Forums,” and served as a content consultant for these events. As a member of the Center for Faith and Work Writer’s Group, she has led topical discussions on the craft and business of writing and participates in monthly critique circles. MaryB. recently placed as a quarterfinalist in Ruminate’sVanderMey Nonfiction Contest for her essay, “Hiding from Grace.” She is passionate about providing content that helps single Christians to step into the fullness God has for them right now by overcoming their limiting beliefs and saying “yes” to their calling.


MaryB. is a member of the inaugural 2020 hope*writers Mastermind. She earned a B.A. in Music from Elon University, where she graduated cum laude and a Masters of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
