In this episode, we look into how living with BPD or mental illnesses can affect how we are in the world and how we relate to others. Chronic mental illness changes everything about your being... how you see the world, and how you see yourself, so I think it is super important to talk about ways we can continue to hold ourselves accountable to others and responsible for our actions. In my opinion, self reflection is one of the most important parts of being able to learn from our past, how it relates to in our present, and how we can be better in the future. If we hold ourselves accountable for our actions after they have happened, we learn how to trust that we will not cause ourselves or others pain. When we learn how to be responsible before things happen, then we can gain greater agency in our lives and our emotions.
